In the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain, an experience that shaped both my personal and professional journey. I began my travels solo, spending a week in the coastal city of Cádiz, where I embraced the culture, language, and rhythm of life in southern Spain. From there, I traveled to Salamanca to meet my study abroad group, and together we spent four unforgettable weeks immersed in the city’s history, architecture, and academic life.

During the program, we explored iconic destinations including Toledo, Spain, and even crossed borders to experience the beauty of Portugal. One of the highlights of my time abroad was interviewing Señor José Miguel Sánchez Llorente, CEO of Escuelas de Lengua Española Universidad de Salamanca, S.L., and University of Salamanca Spanish Programs. Speaking with him offered incredible insight into the university’s dedication to language learning and cultural exchange.

This journey expanded my worldview, strengthened my communication skills, and deepened my passion for storytelling and global connection.
